January & February
In the beginning of the spring semester, the Epsilon Lambda chapter at Rider University new executive board took on their new roles. Each recently elected officer, highly qualified for their role, is ambitious and determined to continue to help our chapter flourish, becoming the best it can be. Following winter break came the exhilarating recruitment process. From Greek night, to Philanthropy round, to Preference night, Epsilon Lambda successfully found the best new member class that will grow and realize their potential within our chapter. After a four night recruitment process, bid day came around on Sunday, February 3rd. The new members were able to bond with their new sisters and paint frames for their bid cards. We are so excited to see all what these ladies will accomplish in their futures here at Alpha Xi Delta. After recruitment we switched our focus to raising awareness and funds for our philanthropy, Autism Speaks. The Epsilon Lambda chapter hosted Xiti and Xingo, a fun night of pasta and bingo games. In total we raised over $3,000 and had the chance to bring the community together for a fun filled night with other organizations coming out to show their support. Going into the month of April we have various events planned one of which is our annual founder days. This years theme being a “Class-Xi Brunch”, where we welcome back our alumni and discuss how much Alpha Xi Delta means us. We also have Xi Man, another event for our philanthropy in which the fraternity men will compete to see who knows Alpha Xi Delta the best, becoming the next Xi Man. We are excited for all we have planned and are looking forward to the best month, April, Autism Speaks month.
